Windows Mobile is a mobile operating system developed by Microsoft that is used in smartphones and mobile devices. It is superseded by Windows Phone 7 which is the successor to its Windows Mobile apps platform. It is aimed at the consumer market instead of the enterprise market like its predecessor. Nokia will be migrating away from Symbian OS to Windows Phone 7 in 2011.
